Why I Paint
"Painting is my way of seeking divine truth through beauty—capturing those fleeting moments where the ordinary reveals something eternal.
Weaving beauty back into everyday life one painting at a time, that's what I want to do."
What art means to me...
To me, art is about more than decoration—it’s about weaving beauty back into everyday life. I believe the world needs more beauty. Humans once infused art into every detail of existence—through architecture, music, theater, and craft. Every crevice of a home, every object, carried elegance and meaning.
Today, with function valued over form and financial gain over joy, much of that spirit has been lost. My work is a small step toward bringing it back.
Painting, for me, is a way to reconnect with that deeper truth. While nature is often at the heart of my work—its completeness, its quiet perfection, its changing moods throughout the seasons—I am equally drawn to capturing the subtle poetry of everyday life: the glow of a room at dusk, the weight of memory, the quiet strength of human connection. Each piece is an attempt to hold onto fleeting moments of light, atmosphere, and emotion.
My paintings are an invitation to pause, breathe, and remember the beauty that surrounds us.
At the heart of my practice is a simple mission: to bring devine beauty into the world.
STYLE & MEDIUMS
I work mainly in oils and watercolor, but I am still exploring my style and experimenting with different mediums. Each material brings out a different side of expression—the depth and richness of oil, the spontaneity and fluidity of watercolor, and the possibility of new textures and techniques I continue to discover along the way.
